Hello everyone! I'm sorry that it's been so long. We've overextended ourselves in certain areas, and as a result, our communication with you has been severely neglected. I highly recommend following us on Twitter and joining our Discord server to keep up to date with what we're doing. Now then, we do have an update for you:
As mentioned at Anime Weekend Atlanta back in early November, we have TBAC working on the translation for this visual novel. We've also been going back and forth with Backerkit to make revisions that they've suggested. As of 15 minutes ago, we were given approval to go ahead with a smoke test. Within the next 24 hours, 5% of backers will be receiving their Backerkit surveys, and 24 hours after that, the final 95% should be sent out to all backers.
Additionally, we've added Irotoridori's progress tracker to our website. Here you'll be able to see progress updated weekly.
We're making a small but meaningful change in how we're proceeding with the development of this Kickstarter, compared to Sakura Sakura and Newton and the Apple Tree.
We've realized that on previous Kickstarters, we've severely underestimated the challenges revolving around the art books. Sakura Sakura's has required a substantial amount of text to be translated, and Newton and the Apple Tree's was made completely from scratch. As such, we're beginning the creation of the art book now rather than once the game has been completed. We'll be posting updates on their Kickstarter pages within the week.

We also want to take some time to ask for everyone's help supporting NekoNyan's Kickstarter for physical copies of their upcoming release of Aokana: Four Rhythms Across the Blue. The game releases digitally later this year, and their campaign to fund a physical release has already reached its sixth stretch goal! They've got all sorts of cool stuff being funded, like a visual fan book, a 3D rotating crystal stand, and even a digital release on the Nintendo Switch!

Sorry it's been so long without an update, we've just been so busy planning for our trip to Anime Expo next week that we haven't had time to write up anything like this. We greatly appreciate your patience, and we'll be sure to post more frequent updates as soon as things slow down here.
Now then, on to the update itself. Backerkit is mostly set up right now, we just need to do a couple more things before we can get it launched for you all. Unfortunately, it's going to take a bit longer before it's finished, as we're in the home stretch for AX and it's becoming increasingly stressful on all of us here. We're terribly sorry this is taking so long, and we'll be sure to have it up and running as soon as we can. Thank you for sticking with us through this, we promise that updates will be far more frequent going forward.

This campaign was a real roller coaster as all of us at Sol Press were tracking the pledges going up and down during the last few seconds. As it came nail-bitingly close to the end, everyone managed to pull together to successfully fund the Kickstarter at $85,359 USD!
We would like to humbly thank every single one of the 873 backers who have made this localization no longer just a simple wish, but a reality!
While we have funded the first game of the trilogy, there have been many questions and comments as to whether or not the future games will be funded via Kickstarter or other means.
The answer is that the funding method of these titles will be determined as the staff gets closer to finishing the current title. The staff at Sol Press would all like to see Favorite's Irosekai trilogy completed, but details can't be decided upon until a further date.
